The rapid development of information technology has brought huge changes to our life. With people’s rhythm of life compact, more and more people have begun to enjoy simple, efficient and convenient way of life. In this context, "micro-lecture", "micro-learning" has become a hot spot in the educational field, and it also becomes the best learning supplement for students unaffected by time, place and environment.Firstly, this paper starts from literature research, defines and describes the concept of micro-lecture, and summarizes the existing research results both at home and abroad. Secondly, the paper takes several outstanding physics micro-lecture cases to study their advantages and disadvantages, reaserch and analyze the status of high school physics class and the conditions to establish micro-lecture, and then summarize the main principles of physics micro-lecture design. Thirdly, based on ADDIE model, this paper constructs a general model of high school physics micro-lecture design, developes micro-lecture on thermology of high school physics, which has been applied to a high school in Suzhou, and then, this paper quantitatively evaluates the design and the application effects of micro-lecture. In the end, this paper summarizes the research contribution and reflects some insufficiency in the research.
