Micro-lecture refers to the teaching auxiliary resources that teachers make around a certain knowledge point and use screen recording and recording in the teaching process, usually in the form of video.Micro-lecture is characterized by shortness and pertinence.Micro-lecture can be used in classroom instruction or in class preparation. In order to meet the requirements of the new curriculum standard to improve students'comprehensive quality and cultivate key component,it is necessary to cultivate students' strong interest in learning, cultivate students'self-development ability and learning ability, and pay attention to the students'self-learning.The ARCS model(Jhon.M.Keller)decomposes the learner's learning motivation in the teaching process, first attracts the learner's"attention",and then establishes the"relevance"between the learner and the knowledge to stimulat the student's learning motivation,in the learning process, stablishes the learner's "self-confidence" and gain "satisfaction" to maintain their motivation. Therefore, the research of this paper is to design micro-lectures based on the ARCS model,so as to improve students'learning motivation and teaching effect. This paper studies the design of micro-lecture based on ARCS model. It is divided into six chapters:The first chapter plans the whole research, clarifies the tasks that need to be completed in the research process, and the research methods to be used. The second chapter mainly summarizes the related research of the thesis, clarifies the generation and definition of the micro-lecture,understands the meaning and development of the ARCS model, and summarizes the problems and research results of different scholars in the corresponding research; The third chapter plans the micro-lecture design process and establishes corresponding Implement the framework, design questionnaires, conduct surveys on students'learning motivations, conduct student interviews and teacher interviews, understand the current situation of students' physics learning motivation, design and use of micro-lectures by teachers, and lay the foundation for the next micro-class design work; The fourth chapter designs micro-lectures based on ARCS model, which are divided into three parts:"strategy of motivation design in micro-lecture","scheme design of micro-lecture" and "micro-lecture design cases".The fifth chapter mainly conducts post-questionnaire survey, student interviews, and teacher interviews.Compare the obtained post-test results with the pre-test results, summarize and analyze the reasons, gain an in-depth understanding of the problems students encounter during the use of micro-lectures and the changes made before and after the use of micro-lectures based on the interviews between students and teachers, futher improve the design of the micro-lecture guided by the ARCS model; The sixth chapter is a summary of the whole research, analyze the problems existing in the research process, think about the possible solutions, and make a prospect for future research.Through the design of the micro-lecture guided by the ARCS model and its practical application,it is found that the use of micro-courses has certain effects, and the motivation for students to learn has improved. The study has the following conclusions:Through questionnaires and interviews,it is found that high school students have high general interest in the process ofphysics learning, but the motivation is not ideal. The two motivational factors of students'namely self-confidence and satisfaction are not high.At the same time, the research also found that the micro-lecture design based on the ARCS model has a lot of room for improvement. In the future,we can further study the micro-curriculum production strategy.
