An Empirical Study On Employment Anxiety Of College Students

With the development of education reform and college expansion, the number of university students has grown rapidly, which makes the employment of graduates be a contemporary unavoidable problem, so a lot of college students have a serious psychological anxiety.In the past, the issue of employment anxiety of university students mainly involved the disciplines of psychology, sociology and other various fields. This study uses the Statistics Analysis System (SAS) which made by Zung in 1971 as a measurement tool, to research the status as well as the main factors of the current employment anxiety of university students.Throughout the existing research, although the employment anxiety of college students were discussed to varying degrees, most reveals the degree of anxiety descriptively, that is "what". As for the deep-seated reasons of employment anxiety, namely "why", and specific measures are scarcity. And others in the statistical methods, mainly on the influence of individual factors. Therefore, this study mainly explores the main factors and the role of various factors in the cross and puts forward countermeasures on the basis of existing research, trying to provide information for the empirical study of employment and counseling of Universities. The findings are as follows:(1) A lot of college graduates have employment anxiety, and different demographic characteristics of people have employment anxiety in varying degrees;(2) Individual ability and employment expectations, family relationships, employment information, and employment assistance, social welfare and employment situation are the main factors that produce employment anxiety, which excludes other effects that may exist.Finally, according to the findings, we propose the suggestions that how to relieve the employment anxiety of the students,which includes personal qualities, the level of employment guidance, social security system and policy support.
