Research On The Farmer Training State Of XY County In Shandong Province

The development of agriculture requires technological support, while the technological improvement needs talents and the cultivation of talents depends on education and training. Shandong is a big agricultural province, in which agriculture plays a significant role in national economy. Jining is a big agricultural city, in which the agricultural population accounts for 64% of the whole amount. The quality level of farmers has direct influence on the quality of social development. Therefore, to enhance the comprehensive quality of farmers and intensify training on them is the vital part of new rural construction.In recent years, with a view to adapting to the trend of social economic development, government of Jining at all levels attaches great importance on the training for farmers, and focuses on spreading agricultural technologies and knowledge, carrying out various practical skills, which greatly promotes the competitiveness of farmers in agricultural production. Meanwhile, the efforts provide rich and strong human resources for new rural construction, and cultivate a good number of new famers equipped with civilization, technology and knowledge, meanwhile, Training does cultivate a large amount of new famers equipped with high quality for the century development. Through deep survey and detailed analysis on the training conditions of farmers in XY county, we put forward several feasible measures and suggestions, in order to address the problems existed in the current training work on farmers of the XY county.Agricultural development needs personnel support. As a major agricultural county, XY County has done a lot to improve the overall quality level of farmers.With the big proportion and low quality of farmers, how to make the limited training funds output the greatest social and economic benefits, how to make the training work successfully, and how to cultivate numbers of new farmers with high quality for the achievement of agricultural efficiency and improvement of farmers’ income, which has became the main purpose of this study.Through documentary method and questionnaire survey, this paper has known the current situation of farmer training in XY County in Shandong province. The characteristics of the farmers in XY County, the development of the training and the training needs of the farmers were investigated and analyzed. 150 farmers in three villages of XY county were investigated with questionnaire and field interviews. Thus we draw the conclusion that the level of education in XY county is not high, the laborage is too large and the training consciousness is weak. The survey data of the XY County farmer training state shows that there are still many problems in the training process, such as the gap between the training contents and demands of the farmers,the farmers’ enthusiasm to participate the training needs to be improved, and the training focused too much on formalism. According to the data of the farmer’s training need, farmers prefer diversified training content, field guide, the nearest,short-term training and free training.The development status and modern problems of farmer training in XY County of Shandong province is an important part of this study. Through investigation and analysis of the status of the farmers training in XY County, the main reasons of influencing the farmers’ training are summarized and analyzed. The main problems in the training are: the shortage of training funds; farmers’ lack of awareness of the training; the enthusiasm of farmers to participate in the training needs to be improved;the certain gap between the training content and the needs of the farmers; lack of professional training law and the training system remains to be improved. The reasons that affect the farmers’ training in XY County include the farmers themselves, the farmers’ family and other reasons.The core of this research is to improve the training of farmers in XY county. This paper analyzes the main problems and causes of the farmer training in XY County,and puts forward some suggestions on the development of farmer training in XY county. It is mainly about the training funds investment diversification, improving the farmers’ cultural quality and farmers’ training enthusiasm, truly understanding of farmers’ training needs and carrying out targeted training activities, establishing and improving the laws and regulations related to farmer training, strengthening teacher training and improving teacher’s professional quality and establishing and improving the multi-channel farmer training system.
