At present, the status of music education in the secondary vocational school is very worrying, which affects the students’comprehensive development. Based on existing research data, a detailed analysis of the importance of music education in the quality training of college students in the occupation, fourth in Luoyang city occupation high school as the investigation object, special interviews with four high school principals, teachers and leaders, the interview included what they think about music education in vocational schools, have what good advice interviews, and pooled their views and suggestions; also to the local three secondary occupation school survey, the survey found that the schools of music curriculum attention is low, teachers defects, music textbooks also have a lot of problems, students of poor quality, low quality and comprehensive comparison the ordinary high school.Music education is not only aesthetic, more healthy development of the mental health of students, students who are. Music education is not an alternative to other disciplines. Based on the survey results, and briefly analysis of the status quo, this paper carries on the research to the secondary vocational school music education, and carries on the practice research to the fourth vocational high school campus culture construction in Luoyang, and puts forward the development strategy. It will provide some theoretical value and practical significance to the development of Vocational Education in our country. It will help to improve the degree of attention of the secondary vocational school and strengthen the comprehensive understanding of the music education in the secondary vocational school.
