Along with accelerated "aging" process on, the pressure of aspects among the elderly, old-age care, health care, social service, is rising, which leads to more attention from society and government in the demand of the elderly health service. The demand is outstanding day by day, and showing a trend of diversification, especially reflected in the features for their health education demand far higher than other age groups. With the aging of population speeding up gradually, the needs for the elderly of pension, health care, social services have become prominent increasingly. Which shows a trend of diversification, especially reflects in their demand for health education is much higher than the other age group.However, the elderly health education services started late in China, it is difficult to meet the needs of the elderly in a certain extent, in which way affects their quality of life and health. Therefore, this paper starts from the needs of health education to the elderly, through the research and practice, in order to explore a new method of effective health education services for the elderly, and achieve the goal of "Elderly have the opportunity to provide, care, study, and worthiness".This study is based on the Nanjing "senior school" project, through the uses of questionnaires, interviews and observation, analysis of health education for elderly health education city, the principles and methods of social work applied to the city of the elderly. The author uses the mode of reciprocal and development working group to help the older people getting health education, and to evaluate the effect of post service, so as to better meet the multi-level needs of the elderly, provides a practical way of thinking and reference.To start with, the research analyzes the condition of health education for urban senior citizens from three main aspects:the opportunity to acquire health education, the method to acquire health education and the realization of health education. Thereafter, from the perspective of practical elderly social work, this paper analyzes the situation that social work meets the needs of health education for the elderly by taking the elderly health education group as the subject of the research. It is believed which influent the demand for elderly health education is not only by the health condition, but also by mental health and health social relationship. According to the needs, health condition and the features of physical of elderly, activities are planned and arranged. At the same time, the service plan will be timely adjusted along with the performance of service objects. Finally, through the detailed process of assessing social work practice analysis, the role of social work methods and effects in elderly health education is confirmed.Finally, the research summarizes the entire process of practice and reflection, discusses the advantages of social work intervention with older educational integration of resources and innovative service model. At the same time, it reflects the ethical dilemma of conflict of interest in the multi-practice process. Social work offers new ideas for meeting the needs of education for elderly. A long-tern mechanism, which is for education of elderly, can be built through the way of government procurement of public services. Besides, education group can be duplicated and promoted in the community, which will lead to a further integration of social work and education for the elderly and better future of educational service for them.
