The object of the research are 686 students who come from Yuci No.4 middle Shool, include three types:the senior high school students;the class changes lives;the vocational high school students. Questionnaires were administered to them.This study aimed to explore the statistical differences exist among the three types of students in coping style,parenting style,self esteem,class environment,and expole the enteraction between parenting style,self esteem,class environment and coping style,and establishes their relationship model by means of return analysis to conern the differences among three types of students.The main results are as follows:1. No significant differences exist in coping style and self-esteem among different students. There are significant differences in father’s emotional warmth, mother’s emotional warmth and overprotection among three types of students. There are significant differences in class environment among different students.2. There is a close relation between parenting styles and coping styles.3.Self-esteem and problem-solving, assistance are significantly related, but self-esteem and self-blame, fantasy, passive and rationalization suggest a significant negative relation.4.The class environment and coping style is closely related. Teacher student relation,classmate relation,order and discipline,competition and problem-solving, assistance are significantly related, but teacher student relation,classmate relation,order and discipline, and self-blame, passive and rationalization suggest a significant negative relation.5.30% of the senior high school students’mature coping styles of problem solving can be explained by self esteem,competition,and order and discipline.12% of the senior high school students’ mature coping styles of seeking support can be explained by self esteem,classmate relation.27% of the class changes lives’mature coping styles of problem solvingcan be explained by self esteem,teacher student relation,father’s emotional warmth and father’s rejection.11% of the class changes lives’mature coping styles of seeking support can be explained by self esteem.22% of the vocational high school students’mature coping styles of problem solving can be explained by father’s emotional warmth, classmate relation and also self esteem.15% of the vocational high school students’mature coping styles of seeking support can be explained by classmate relation and self esteem.
