With the new curriculum ideas proposed, teaching mode is also engaged in continuous reform, while, personalized education, which is proposed to develop a comprehensive、harmonious personality for teaching objectives on the basis of students’ common characters, has attracted the attention from our country and foreign countries. But compared with other traditional teaching methods, personalized education has not been used in Chinese classrooms completely. It has not play an important role, and just been used in some subjects by some teachers. Through this study of this essay, aiming at the problems existing in the biology teaching of junior middle school, the easy can carry out personalized education, and ultimately gets a good discussion on the role of personalized education in the biology teaching process, and provides some good education strategy for the junior middle school biology education.This essay contains the following aspects:First, the essay reviews the background on individualized education at home and abroad, then makes a clear definition of the "personality" and "personalized education" concepts. Second, the essay makes a point that personalized education plays an important role in the teaching of biology, through investigation, the essay analyses the students’ attitudes to learning biology and learning methods of biology, which explains biology teaching model need to be reformed. Third, Based on biology of junior high school, the essay analyzes the children personal character at the stage of adolescence, their personal character is changing and this time is important to develop their personality. Fourth, Combining subject features of biology, the author proposes some strategy for personality education in middle school biology class. Fifth, through specific case practice, the essay sums up the impact of personality education on students’ interest in biology, the role of personality education to achieve the three objectives(knowledge, capability and attitudes and values of target)according to the research result, and the important impacts on developing students’ potential. Finally, according to the findings, the essay summarizes the practical significance of personality education in middle school biology class and the shortcomings in current development, and raises some expectations for personality education in middle school biology class.
