Self-regulated study has been advocated and applied in high schools for a period of time, and many researchers have ended up with some achievements in this area. Self-regulated study of classical Chinese in the high school where I work is carried out in both horizontal and vertical aspects, and it shows some positive effects as well as problems. According to the present situation, I start the project of Self-regulated Study of Classical Chinese, which is based on the former research findings and combines the recent teaching practice of our school, to carry out further study and reflection.This article consists of 4 chapters. The first chapter expounds contemporary study and practice related to self-regulated study of classical Chinese. The second chapter first gives a definition of self-regulated study, and then demonstrates theoretical and practical foundation of self-regulated study of classical Chinese in high school, so that it is possible to figure out the true meaning and practical significance of self-regulated study of classical Chinese in high school. The third chapter, the main part of the article, introduces the horizontal and vertical practice of self-regulated study of classical Chinese in my school and looks into its features and advantages. The last chapter presents the results of self-regulated study of classical Chinese in the form of cases, and reflects on the problems coming along.
