With the development of China’s economy, politics, culture, the deepening of the fitness program, and the gradually increasing of urban and rural residents’ awareness of keeping fitness, more and more people take part in fitness, health care and recreation. Social sports activities become the trend of the times and develop all over the world. The enthusiasm of people to participate in physical exercise and the level of consumption are increasing which promote the socialization, marketization and industrialization of sports and naturally lead to a increase of demand in sports talents. The people who sever for the mass of society are most graduates majoring in social sports guidance and management. Service to society the masses fitness sports talent should focus primarily on social sports guidance and management graduates, according to the situation of social needs, graduates should be in a state of demanding exceeds supplying, but the social sports guidance and management major has appeared in October 2014 list which shows the lower employment rate for nearly two years released by the Ministry of Education. According to information, in Hebei Province, the employment situation of the graduates in this major is not optimistic. Faced with such a large social needs, the employment situation for graduates major in social sports guidance and management is so grim. What’s the reason of it? How to change the situation of imbalance between supply and demand and how to change the employment situation of graduates become the most important issue that all universities and society concern about.The most important part which influences talents’ development is curriculum provision, which relates to training direction and quality of talents. The most effective method to cultivate all-round development talents is to optimize curriculum provision of social sports guidance and management major. Therefore, this thesis uses the methods of documentary, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics and logical analysis to study and analysis the current situation of curriculum provision of social sports guidance and management majors in 8 universities. Through the careful study and analysis and combining with the practical situation, the author aims to sum up the problems in the curriculum provision of the Social Sports guidance and management major in Hebei Province, make some recommendations and provide a theoretical basis and a useful reference for the curriculum system reform and construction.So that the author can make some contributions on promoting health development of university social sports guidance and management major, cultivating social needs of qualified personnel, and promoting student employment,Through the research, drawing the following conclusions:First,,under the guidance of "professional norms", all colleges and universities in Hebei Province set different curriculum provisions, generally speaking, which can meet social needs and the development of local economy, but still need to continue to adjust and improve.Second, though the training objectives of the social sports guidance and management major in Hebei universities are different in literal meaning, they all aim to foster applied talents, which is fit for the characteristics of the graduates’ jobs. There are some problems in that, such as the objective is too wide, lacking in clarity and so on.Third, Hebei social sports guidance and management major in accordance with the requirements of all colleges and universities offers a general education courses. The public compulsory courses required by the Ministry of Education are basically the same, but the kinds of elective crouses in some schools are too little to be avaliable for students and the quality of the elective courses can not be guaranteed and so on.Fourth, although Hebei social sports guidance and management major of all the universities has different characteristics but in most professional and technical courses compulsory and Physical Education Curriculum coincide, resulting in less prominent professional and technical features.Fifth, Hebei colleges and universities have set up elective courses, and the restricted electives(orientation class) can show students’ characteristics, which is mainly set in the fifth semester. Maybe there is some difficulties for the students to learn specialized courses well.Sixth, Hebei colleges and universities are more concerned about the practice of integrated curriculum, setting the period and credits which students must meet. the main part of the practice is to focus on internships before graduation, because of that, it appears a phenomenon: students recognize the importance of learning professional theory and technical expertise, and find their shortcomings and deficiencies, however, the learning time in school is not enough.
