The Research On Optimization Strategy And Setting Of Undergraduate Specialties In Jiangxi Province

With the continuous development of the socialist market economy in our country,the relationship between universities and society is getting closer and closer.The idea that colleges and universities should only focus on the academic is far from meeting the needs of the society to some extent.Facing the ever-changing market,how to develop higher education in major setting is a very realistic problem that can not be ignored in the field of higher education.From the social point of view,specialties are established to meet the needs of the society.Nowadays,our country is faced with a severe employment situation.We should not look at the problem of talents cultivation in colleges and universities in an old perspective,but should connect colleges and universities with society.With social needs and economic development,and the establishment of specialties should be regarded as an important means of talent training in colleges and universities.It is related to the orientation and development direction of colleges and universities,to the supply and demand of social talents,to whether colleges and universities can adapt to the needs of the times.This paper collects the geographical distribution,the number of graduates,the structure of teachers and professional settings of 20 undergraduate colleges in Jiangxi Province by the mean of literature analysis,interdisciplinary research methods,etc.By collecting the data of employment situation of College graduates,through descriptive statistics we learned undergraduate constantly optimized the major setting adjustment,cancelled some majors not suitable for the economic development to adapt to the social development of professional undergraduate colleges and universities in Jiangxi Province,but there are still major setting specialty convergence phenomenon.Professional development mechanism is not perfect,Structure of teachers is not perfect.which cause Jiangxi province university personnel training can not meet the needs of economic development in Jiangxi province.Based on this situation,that a reasonable setting of profession,optimizing the professional setting is important to set up the professional building of a sound mechanism.Based on the analysis of the data set of Jiangxi province,colleges and universities should clarify their position,improve the professional setting,improve the teaching force,introduce advanced talents,set up new industries,establish a perfect talent training system,and cultivate innovative talents,etc.
