Research On The Influence Of FDI On The Employment In Beijing, Tianjin And Hebei Area

Under the new economic normal, open as one of the "Thirteen five" five major development, highlights the importance of foreign direct investment in economic development in china. Since the reform and opening up, China’s economic rise rapidly, the scale of using foreign investment continues to expand, China surpassed the United States in 2002, and became the country who attracted the largest foreign direct investment in the world. With the continuous expansion of the scale of foreign direct investment, its influence on the social and economic development of our country is increasing. However, China is still a developing country with a large number of people, in the downward pressure of the economic growth, the employment problem is more severe. Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, as the third economic growth pole after the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta, has attracted a large number of foreign direct investment, a large influx of foreign capital not only has brought strong financial support for the economic development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, improved the level of management and technical, and promoted industrial upgrading, but also has created a large number of employment opportunities and trained a large number of professional personnel, driven the regional employment. However, foreign direct investment also has some crowding out effect, therefore, this article hopes to study the impact of foreign direct investment on the employment of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and provide policy recommendations for the better utilization of foreign direct investment in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Area.The foreign direct investment influenced the employment from many aspects in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Area, so this article will study the employment effect of FDI from the employment quantity, employment structure and employment quality. Firstly, the paper analyzes the current situation of FDI and employment in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province from the three aspects:the overall trend, the regional characteristics and the industrial characteristics, and then put forward the problems of FDI and employment development in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province, then apply the theory analysis and empirical analysis, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, to explore the direct and indirect effects of FDI on employment in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province. Finally, put forward the proposed and targeted policy recommendations to promote the employment of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province.
