During the Renaissance, European emerging bourgeoisie had Launched a reform movement in the fields of literature, philosophy, art, science and technology, social life and customs. The educational thought of the Renaissance was born in this kind of innovation. Many Renaissance educators opened up the new field of educational activities, and promoted the development of educational theory. In these complex educational ideas, educational thought of Utopia have a unique style. The utopian thinkers in the Renaissance period described the educational status of the ideal society through their own works. This thesis is divided into three parts to discuss the educational thought of Utopia in the Renaissance period:Chapter One discusses the historical background and ideological roots of the educational thought of Utopia in the Renaissance period. In the late Middle Ages, the feudal society of Europe began to disintegrate, and to make the transition to a capitalist society. In this historical transition, they launched with anti-feudal, anti-theology-based revolutionary struggle —— Renaissance. Educational thought of Utopia belongs to the category of utopian thinking on the nature of education, reflecting the common characteristics of humanism. Educational thought of Utopia is as the same as education thought of realism humanistic. They affirmative human values, and pursuit individual liberation, as well as opposing scholastic education.Chapter Two discusses the contents of the educational thought of Utopia in Renaissance. Article discusses the thinking on the subject of education, educational principles, educational contents and methods. Through detailed and methodical discussion, the article describes the original Renaissance utopian comprehensive educational ideology.Chapter Three appraises the educational thought of Utopia. In this part, there is an analysis on the progressiveness and limitation of the Renaissance utopian educational thought. In the meantime there will be a comparison with the Humanistic Educational Thought contemporary realism. At last, the paper will concern about the impact theory of the Renaissance utopian ideas for future generations education.
