Leader plays an important role in establishing efficient team,has a unshakable position in enterprise management and the research of performance, and the leadership style involves the leader behaviors,that is a particularly important factor to achieve organizational goals.Primary and secondary school leaders can build a kind of working environment,which affect the teachers’ behavior, motivation and emotion, primary and secondary school teachers as executor of basic education work, their work engagement and mental health play a very important role to improve the quality of teaching.Conform to the theory of leadership style and positive organizational behavior research, this study explore the psychological mechanism of teachers’ psychological capital in the relationship between the transformational leadership style and teachers’ work engagement.By investigating transformational leadership, teachers, psychological capital and work engagement from primary and secondary school teachers,and statistical analysis of the questionnaire, this study reaches the following conclusion:(1)There are significant gender difference among the Task-based psychological capital of primary and secondary school teachers;(2)Female primary school teachers’ perception of transformational leadership style is significantly higher than the secondary school teachers;(3)Transformational leadership style,teachers’ Task-oriented psychological capital,Interpersonal-oriented psychological capital and work engagement are significantly positive correlated each other;(4)Transformational leadership style can predict the teachers’ work engagement;(5)Interpersonal-oriented psychological capital can adjust the transformational leadership style’s effect on work engagement;(6) Interpersonal-oriented psychological capital can adjust the transformational leadership style’s effect on Task-oriented psychological capital;(7)Task-based psychological capital is the mediating variable in the effect that interpersonal psychological capital regulating the relationship between transformational leadership style and work engagement.Teachers’ Interpersonal-oriented psychological capital adjust the transformational leadership style ’s effect on work engagement through Task-oriented psychological capital, Task-oriented psychological capital mediated this moderation effect completely, namely the relationship between the transformational leadership style and teachers’ work engagement:the mediated moderating effect of psychological capital.
