| WebQuest is a kind of lesson plan or course unit that can make use of the network resources. And it’s also a typical integration model about information technology and curriculum, which is based on the constructivism learning theory. students can use the network resources reasonably to complete the learning tasks Under the guidance of teachers, so as to develop the ability to process information and creative spirit. Many teachers in the world have used WebQuest to carry out the practice in teaching. This paper puts forward the application of WebQuest to the teaching of the course, based on the analysis of Special Subject of Modern Biotechnology in the high school biology.According to the teaching suggestion of “high school biology curriculum standard(experimental)â€, this study first determine seven themes from Special Subject of Modern Biotechnology, which are suitable for the WebQuest.It is essential to create systematic web pages by Dreamweaver website development tools, and choose three representative cases to design particularly. In the implementation phase, students collect and analyze information, and finally complete the WebQuest task. Research shows that it is suitable to use the WebQuest in the teaching of Special Subject of Modern Biotechnology. And students can Develop learning interest and training comprehensive ability through the Web Quest. Teachers can use WebQuest to solve the problem of insufficient teaching resources. However, WebQuest has some limitations in the practical teaching, such as the difficult transformation of teachers’ ideas, the limit of lesson period, and the students’ inadaptation. |
