The current biology curriculum teaching in high school of our country is combinedcompulsory curriculum and elective courses.The elective courses are designed to helpstudents develop their characteristics,also help to improve practical ability, cooperationability and so on.However,the majority matriculation questions choose from the compulsorypart, the schools and teachers pay less attetion on elective courses, students have no interstin learning elective courses, the elective courses can not play an important role in theteaching.The Network Teaching is based on network technology platform, teaching and learningthrough network environment. It has a large number of information resources, convenientsearch methods, interesting and vivid teaching situation.Biology teaching through Internethas many advantages, like mass of information resources, forefront of scientific andtechnological progress, intersting pages screen and so on, Network Teaching can makePersonalized learning, inquiry learning, cooperative learning and self-study come true.Webquest is a kind of network course, professor Bemie Dodge from the University ofSan Diego proposed it in1995. Being the central role and using the scaffold made by theteacher,motivated by a certain task,students are Guided to explore learning.The studentscan put forward their own options through analysis, synthesis, and improve the ability ofcreation and self-learning.In this paper, discuss the advantages of biology elective courses in high school byusing network teaching.To “The safety of transgenic technology”as an example, throughintroduction,tast,forums,process,evalution and conclusion six aspects for teachingdesign.Interviews three types of people,include some biology teachers, high school studentsand normal university students at last.The last part analysis the advantages and disadvantages of network biology teaching.And put forward seven measures and suggestions, include student-centered, individualizedteaching and in-time evaluation and so on. I really hope it can provide some useful referencefor follow-up study.
