As the stars of ancient literature in a bright pearl, ancient poetry is undoubtedly full of unique and remarkable charm. It is an important part which can not even for a moment away of traditional Chinese culture, but also an ind ispensable learning content in Chinese Teaching of Middle School. Needless to say, ancient poetry teaching has become a research which is worked tirelessly by Chinese Teaching researchers and the majority of front-line Chinese teachers. Indeed, the research results are colorful in this context.Overall, the study of ancient poetry teaching is concentrated in two directions: One is the content-based sensual poetry appreciation based on Chinese Classical Aesthetics. The other one is the rational poetry appreciation which focuses on form, technique and symbol based on western modern theory. To some extent, the two formed a sharp contrast. I think that Chinese ancient poetry has its special historic and cultural nature. If purely at an emotional or rational angle to the study of ancient poetry teaching, they will inevitab ly fall into the "nowhere near" Deviated Misunderstandings. On the one hand, Chinese ancient poetry itself has a unique culture and spirit. So the appreciation shouldn’t leave the Chinese classical tradition aesthetics background. On the other hand, the term method of Western Literature, such as semiotics, indeed provides a new and effective experience ins ights and theoretical support for Chinese ancient poetry teaching. Therefore, only the mastery of both can examine ancient poetry appreciation better. For this edge, I write the poor paper to bring the term "Code" to the scope of the study field, and it will be used as the junction point between Chinese classical aesthetics and symbol aesthetics in order to provide some new ideas in the teaching of ancient poetry. It is just the appetizer that offers a humble heart for the appreciation and teaching of Chinese anc ient poetry.The paper will combine the aesthetic category of Chinese classical aesthetics and the symbol aesthetics of Western literary to contemplate the appreciation and teaching of Chinese ancient poetry. The full text is divided into upper and lower tie, also four chapters. The introduction part is mainly related to the research background and the current s itu ation. Meanwhile, it briefly discusses the classical aesthetics and symbol aesthetics. On the tie down, it is the theoretical basis. The first chapter summarizes from two different perspectives of the East and West. The second chapter focuses on the correlation between the "Code" and Chinese ancient poetry; Under the tie down, it is the part of the practice implications. The third chapter is anchored in the situation of ancient poetry teaching to probe realistic significance of Code – Teaching. The fourth chapter is to explore specific issues and strategies of ancient poetry teaching of middle school under the “Code” perspective.
