With the progress and development of the times, the elementary education idea of our country is in deepening. The elementary education are transforming from the traditional examination-oriented education to quality education under the influence of new curriculum reform, which paying attention to cultivate students’innovation spirit and practice ability. With the trail of the new college entrance examination reform, Geography will shift from compulsory subjects to selective subjects. Under this transformation, the geography class teaching mode of middle school is bound to change, and the geography class teaching evaluation standards of middle school should make the corresponding adjustment. Therefore, the establishing of geography class teaching evaluation standards of middle school in the new curriculum reform becomes a hot topic in recent years.The research of the geography class teaching evaluation standards of middle school advocated in the new curriculum reform not only can promote students’overall development, but also can improve teachers’quality of teaching and strengthen the comprehensive strength of school, which can play a real meaning role of the geography class teaching evaluation.Firstly, the paper, using literature research method, questionnaire survey method, interview and empirical study, combining data processing analysis method with experimental comparison and analysis method, analyzes the developing trends of the geography class teaching evaluation of middle school by studying the trend at home and abroad, thus we determined the research contents and technical route. Secondly, we defined the relevant concepts, namely, education evaluation, teaching evaluation, the class teaching evaluation, the class teaching evaluation standards. The paper, on the thought foundation of multiple intelligence theory, humanistic theory, constructivism and postmodernism theory, analyzes concept development and principles of the geography class teaching evaluation of middle school under the new curriculum reform. Thirdly, we analyzed the advantages and shortcomings of the current geography class teaching evaluation of middle school through the questionnaire survey. According to the shortcomings of the current geography class teaching evaluation of middle school, we built a kind of geography class teaching evaluation standards of middle school which conforms to the new curriculum reform. And this step mainly includes three aspects:optimizing the index weight set of the existing geography class teaching evaluation of middle school; the results by adopting the combination of qualitative method and quantitative method in the evaluation process; building different geography class teaching evaluation standards of middle school according to different courses of geography. Finally, we conducted real diagnosis research analysis towards the new geography class teaching evaluation standards of middle school in order to guarantee the reliability and validity of evaluation standards, and found the new geography class teaching evaluation standards of middle school was feasible and operational. We drew the following conclusions in the progress:the new geography class teaching evaluation of middle school under the curriculum reform can promote the enthusiasm of teachers and students, makes teachers and students teach and learn in a relaxed happy atmosphere; the new geography class teaching evaluation of middle school under the curriculum reform can increase the students’interest in learning, broadens students’horizons; the new geography class teaching evaluation of middle school under the curriculum reform not only improves the requirement of students’ learning, but also put forward higher request to the geography teacher, namely, the geography teacher must constantly deepen knowledge, improve their own quality and keep pace with the times.A set of scientific and effective geography class evaluation standards of middle school is very important to students, teachers and the development of school. We hope this paper contribute to the continuous improvement of geography class evaluation standards of middle school, give geography teachers a hand, promote the curriculum education reform of middle school geography, and play a role of reference for the success reform of the geography class teaching evaluation of middle school.
