Guidance Countermeasures Research On The Problem Of College Students’ Irrational Consumption

Consumption, as an important factor of promoting economic development, is closely related to people’s life throughout the course of the human social life. Rationality and irrationality is a pair of important philosophical category, and is also an important standard to judge consumption reasonable or not. College students are the elites of society and act as the link between family, school and society, so it is important whether they have rational consumption concept and behavior or not. For their all-round development, guiding students consume rationally has a great theoretical and practical significance. As a whole, the consumption behavior of college students present a rational, healthy positive mainstream, but at the same time there are some unhealthy tendencies of irrational consumption. Therefore, we should rectify the irrational consumption of college students, guide them to set up rational consumption ideas, forge their humanistic spirit of consumption, and foster thrifty consumption culture environment.This paper consists of the introduction and three parts.The introduction mainly relates to the purpose and the significance of the article, the current situation in China and abroad, research methods and innovations; The first part discusses the relative theories of irrational consumption, distinguishes the rational and irrational concepts, defines college students’ irrational consumption, and emphatically expounds the negative influence of irrational consumption, setting the stage for the college students’ consumption survey; The second part, according to a survey on college students’ consumption situation, sums up the current college students’ consumption performance. On the premise of confirming that the rationality consumption accounts for the mainstream, this part analyses the causes of college students’ irrational consumption in-depth, providing a direction to find rational consumption countermeasures; The third part, as the emphasis of the article, discusses how to correct irrational consumption ideas and behaviors of college students, to exert the functions of many sides to improve college students’ consumption situation, and to guide college students to consume rationally.
