Kashgar is a city of mostly minority population, since ancient times, Various ethnic cultures mingled here, and colorful. With the progress of time, the social and economic development of Kashgar, The city also has ethnic customs attract compatriots all over the country come here to live and settle in. For a multi-ethnic city, the harmonious development of all ethnic cultural relations have a relationship with the local national unity and cultural integration and the stability and development of society. Chinese school-based curriculum to make up for the lack of local adaptation of Chinese national curriculum shortcomings and put up a bridge for the exchange of minority culture and mainstream cultures interact. It’t an important role to promote national unity and enhance students’ national identity of all ethnic groups. Therefore, the Kashgar middle school’s Chinese school-based curriculum development is worth studying.This research used literature analysis method, and questionnaire survey method and interview phase combined of research method, 150 language teachers of Chinese middle school are surveyed, recovered 127 valid questionnaires and interviewed 8 objects. Trying to truly reflect the basic situation of Kashgar middle school’s Chinese school-based curriculum development and implementation, and to explore the problem and the reason of its existence,against the issues raised the corresponding countermeasures. Through investigating the situation of Kashgar middle school’s Chinese school-based curriculum development, there are some problems were found: The main person’s course consciousness is too lighter, curriculum development capability is too lower; Lacking of curriculum resources utilization; The type of school-based curriculum development is relatively simple; The evaluation mechanism of school-based curriculum development need to improve enough; Lack of effective internal and external support in school-based curriculum development.To solve the above problem, some corresponding measures are raised. Increasing the main person’s course consciousness; Improving the curriculum development capability; Make full use of Chinese curriculum resources inside and outside of school; Improving the evaluation system of school-based curriculum development; Increasing the support of school-based curriculum development. Through this study, we can comprehend the basic situation of Kashgar middle school’s Chinese school-based curriculum development and find some problems about it.Thereby providing a reference for the teachers and education management workers who participate in Kashgar middle school’s Chinese school-based curriculum development. To further promote the development and implementation of school-based curriculum development in basic education of Kashgar.
