Study Of The Demand Structure Of Public Sports Service Of Urban Residents In Lianyungang,Jiangsu Province

As an important guarantee of national sports material culture, public sports service plays a key role in building a harmonious society.Urbanization is an important direction in the development of China nowadays and satisfying urban residents’ demand for public sports service is a vital aspect in the construction and development of urbanization.This paper analyzes the residents’ demand structure,current demand situation and problems of public sports service in Lianyungang through the ways of document literature,questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics.It plays an important guiding role in both theory and practice to the reform of the supply side of public sports service in Lianyungang.The study shows:In Lianyungang, people’s demands for public sports service vary with different sexes and ages;the residents’ demands for public sports service are related to occupation,education and income;people have different demand intensity due to different occupations;there isn’t a positive correlation between the demand and per capita disposable income;exercising is the major motive of most residents with a demand for public sports service;urban residents’ demands for sports venues and facilities are diversified;urban residents in Lianyungang have strong demands for sports technical guidance;there is a relatively high demand for management policies and regulations on sports venues and facilities;urban residents’ demand for loose and spontaneous sports association service is on the top of all demands;urban residents in Lianyungang have a low demand for physical monitoring service.According to the actual situation in Lianyungang, strategies can be put forward as follows:diversifying suppliers,optimizing the content of public sports service and making effective access to it; government should encourage and support more market organizations to join the supply system of public sports service through buying public services so as to realize the pluralism of suppliers;increase the number of voluntary social sports instructors;set up a network of physical monitoring points;increase the quantity of summer swimming sites and facilities through public-private partnership mode(ppp mode); construct a complete sports sites and make electronic fitness map,and meanwhile, put up fitness map on bulletins in communities.
