Objective:basketball is a sport event which is integrated with the collective, complex, multi-variable and fierce resistance. It is generally believed that the energy metabolism of basketball is a key technology in the process of anaerobic metabolism, but the proportion of the whole exercise energy metabolism is low, and the majority of energy in basketball is provided by the aerobic metabolism. By analyzing the difference of heart and lung endurance of basketball special undergraduates and the relationship between the performance of the sports ability, so as to provide a theoretical guidance and practical application value for the basketball special undergraduates to improve their fitness.Methods:40 healthy male subjects were selected from Beijing Sport University and all undergraduates in the College of education. The data were recorded and analyzed by statistical software to find out the correlation between the indexes. Results:the maximal oxygen efficiency slope and muscle strength of lower limbs showed moderate correlation (positive correlation, correlation coefficient was 0.789), and the maximum oxygen content was 0.457,60, three,0.599,0.529 respectively, and the correlation coefficient was 0.65, the correlation coefficient was 60, the correlation coefficient was 0.481, and the correlation coefficient was 0.739, and the correlation coefficient was 60. There was no significant correlation between the maximum oxygen uptake efficiency, the maximum oxygen uptake, and the maximal oxygen uptake rate of the three.Conclusion:1 the maximal oxygen uptake, maximal oxygen uptake rate and the lower limb speed endurance are closely related, which can effectively reflect the muscle endurance in the exercise capacity.2 cardiopulmonary endurance index maximum oxygen uptake rate slope, maximum oxygen uptake, maximum oxygen uptake rate of 60 and lower extremity three degrees/s speed of the centrifugal force were moderately correlated, can be a certain extent, reflecting the muscle strength of the exercise capacity. 3 there was no correlation between cardiopulmonary endurance index and balance ability.
