Chinese is one of the world’s most developed language, history textbooks of primary school language can be traced back to two thousand years ago Zhou, Qin era of "the Six", has a long history. In the long history of the evolution of society, education was constantly changing. As an educational support material, it also followed political changes, economic ups and downs, high and low culture, social values and changes in people’s education requirements and evolving. Small textbooks can be a reflection of a nation’s educational philosophy and values-oriented materials between the lines, it was disclosed hope educators and social future of the motherland, language teaching materials for study is shouting demands of the times, education. Taiwan and mainland China are Chinese-speaking, and have the same nationality as the source, but the selection and arrangement of language teaching material contents, there are some differences that reflect both educational philosophy and educational goals, affecting both effectiveness of teaching, quality of students, moral values, and so on.In this paper, the continent PEP Primary "language" textbook, Taiwan Nan Yiban "national language" textbook for the study, on two sets of textbooks guidance document, Textbooks, teaching materials and "child" of the extent of a comparative study, explore the two differences in the preparation of the concept, value orientation, staffing levels and other aspects, for study and learn from each other.The introduction part of this paper describes the study of the origin of language teaching comparative study of existing land Elementary School Primary and Taiwan Mandarin textbook research was summarized, the research object of the paper has been described, and introduces the research methods and research ideas. Followed by Chinese author Lu Taiwan situation and curriculum reform and development of primary education made a presentation, reviewing the development of the social and historical context of language education in both primary and two curriculum reform background, and from writing the concept, analyzes the objectives of the two programs two existing curriculum standards(outline) of the similarities and differences. Materials analysis, the author is mainly from the textbook style structure, the teaching materials, teaching "children" of the three aspects of a comparative analysis, it follows two sets of textbooks difference between knowledge, culture and aesthetics. Finally, the author is based on comparison of the various parts of the foregoing analysis, reflection two textbooks for primary difference revelation of language teaching materials.
