Internet thinking has infiltrated lots of fields, Geography, as an ancient subject, has experienced a long development and evolution, it is inevitable to combine with this thinking. The traditional mode of geography education in the implementation of quality education is gradually revealed some drawbacks. And the internet products that integrating a large number of relevant educational resources and providing teaching services and management have occupied a considerable part of the online education market share.According to the present situation of the geography education cloud platform, we refer to the traditional education application platform, putting forward the solution of the platform of geographic education resources,and discussing the user experience design of education cloud platform in detail, which has a certain guiding significance for the integration of multi types of geography curriculum resources, improving of the geography of learning and teaching, giving of personalized curriculum solutions and better human-computer interaction for the user experience. Firstly, we introduces the current geography education research and education platform application status, and expounds the related theory and the key technology of geography education, cloud platform, education cloud platform and user experience design. So that we could provide theoretical basis and technical support to construct geography education cloud platform with excellent user experience. Secondly, through the analysis of the current situation of education cloud platform, it is found that there are many challenges in resource sharing and information services, so we put forward the solution of the geographical education cloud platform with excellent experience. Based on the existing platform construction principles, we detail the requirements analysis, interaction design and visual design of autonomous learning, curriculum resources management and sharing and geographic communities of the geography education cloud platform, and then take the digital weather station which could assist geography teaching as a case, to expound the key technology and development.The platform can meet the different needs of teachers and students in the geography teaching activities. Based on the existing platforms resources such as pictures, documents, video network, and curriculum documents, the students can be active to customize how they learn and do classroom exercises online. Teachers can provide personalized programs and curriculum preparation, review, research work based on the learning behavior records of students. In the current "experience economy era", we also study the user experience design which includes requirement analysis, information architecture, task flows, interaction design and visual design of the geography education cloud platform. We hope it can play a role of the reference to the management and sharing of diverse resources in geography education and the development of education cloud platform.Finally, we gives prospects for the development of geography education cloud platform from three aspects including video service as well as data mining based on the learner’s behavior record, platform mobility, live courses.
