In recent years,with the rapid development of cloud computing technologies and big data technologies,a highly efficient and lightweight"cloud" platform has emerged.In the Top Ten Education Topics in 2017,the cloud platform ranked first.The education cloud platform is actually a large-scale network technology service platform.It is a big data processing technology and a specific computing method.According to the needs of users,through the Internet The way to achieve information interaction and education resource sharing.Traditional geography classrooms often use the "cramming"teaching method.Students' attention is usually switched between boring textbook texts and teacher fatigue.This teaching model has its own rationality,but in the context of the new curriculum standards,it is difficult to meet the requirements for cultivating students'core qualities.The flipping classroom is a teaching mode that relies on information technology to reverse the process of knowledge transfer and internalization of knowledge,and is an important teaching attempt to improve classroom capacity.This paper analyzes the advantages of the educational cloud platform and flips the teaching process of the classroom.This paper proposes a geographically flipped classroom model based on the educational cloud platform and innovates the traditional geography teaching mode.This research bases on the new geography curriculum standards.Under the background of promoting the educational cloud platform project in Dongguan City,combining the characteristics of the physical and mental development of junior high school students,the author mainly adopts the literature method,questionnaire survey method,interview method,and case analysis method to groom the educational cloud platform.In the current situation of the application of geography teaching,a theoretical conception combining the educational cloud platform and the flipping classroom teaching flow was put forward.The teaching of the seventh grade earth book "Earth and the Globe" was used as a class example to conduct teaching experiments.Finally,through investigation and research and interviews.The study found that teaching value of flipping classrooms under educational cloud platform.This research innovatively proposes a flipping classroom teaching model based on an educational cloud platform to provide reference for follow-up researchers.
