The kindergarten teachers’ emotional labor refers to individuals’management of emotional displays and the effort paid in the emotion regulation in order to actively portray socially and organizationally desired emotions during job-related interactions. Researchers have shown that the kindergarten teacher is a high emotional labor occupation. Teachers’ emotional labor affects their physical and mental health, job satisfaction, job burnout and professional development. It also influences the interaction between teacher and children, children’s cognitive level, children’s emotional expression and health.In the variables of teachers’ emotional labor, the discussion of career self-efficacy is ignored. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to understand their status and relationship.227 teachers from 9 kindergarten of City S filled in the Formal Questionnaire of Kindergarten Teachers’ Emotional Labor and Formal Questionnaire of Kindergarten Teachers’ Career Self-Efficacy which have been revised before to get high reliability and validity.Otherwise,6 teachers took part in the interviewing.This study’s major finding shows following:1. Formal Questionnaire of Kindergarten Teachers’ Emotional Labor was found to have acceptable reliability and validity and suitable for this population of this study object, which could be used as the instrument to measure the level of kindergarten teachers’ emotional labor. It concludes surface acting, passive deep acting and deep acting.2. Formal Questionnaire of Kindergarten Teachers’ Career Self-Efficacy have acceptable reliability and validity and suitable for this population of this study object, which could be used as the instrument to measure the level of kindergarten teachers’ career self-efficacy. It concludes sense of career cognition and development, sense of body and mind, sense of career intercourse, sense of career technology.3. The mean points of kindergarten teachers’emotional labor is 3.68, higher than the middle level. The three factors of emotion labor in ascending order of score is: surface acting (3.13±0.82) <passive deep acting (3.77±0.74)<deep acting (4.02± 0.63), the difference have reached significant levels. Demographic variables affect the kindergarten teachers’ emotional labor.4. The mean points of kindergarten teachers’ career self-efficacy is 3.97, higher than the middle level. The four factors of emotion labor in ascending order of score is: sense of career’cognition and development efficacy (3.63±0.62)<sense of body and mind (4.03±0.59)< sense of career’technology (4.07±0.75)< sense of career’ intercourse efficacy (4.30±0.53). Only the differences of sense of body and mind and sense of career technology do not reach a significant level. Demographic variables affect the kindergarten teachers’career self-efficacy.5. Kindergarten teachers’ emotional labor and career self-efficacy show a positive correlation. The correlation reaches the significant level.6. In the control of demographic variables, career self-efficacy has significant explanatory power on emotional labor. It can explain 15.1% of emotional labor.Based on these results, the author provides some relevant recommendations from the government, kindergarten and kindergarten teachers. Governments should focus on issues of kindergarten teachers’ emotional labor and improve relevant systems. The leader of kindergarten should create a good culture and support teachers. Kindergarten teachers should enhance career self-efficacy to improve the status of emotional labor.
