Children’s reading comprehension ability refers to young children in reading books process, according to existing knowledge and experience of the pictures were to characterize the meaning and interpretation, the ability to understand the whole picture book content is formed on this basis. Reading comprehension ability is the basis for the development of early childhood reading ability of children language, thought, social cognition and so has a positive role in promoting. Therefore, this study mainly young children early reading activities, reading comprehension, reading the relationship between attitudes and home literacy environment to explore by quantitative research.This study uses the test method, the Z kindergarten of W City named 76 test subjects, the data analyzed by SPSS 19.0 system, understand Preschool reading comprehension development status. In questionnaire, supplemented by interviews, these parents and teachers with a class of 76 K-3 Children conducted surveys and interviews.The study found that:Ⅰ.76 Children’s ability to reading understand what is weak.Ⅱ.76 Children’s reading attitude and home literacy environment is not good.Ⅲ. Preschool different background variables under their reading comprehension, differences in reading attitudes and home literacy environment. Specific performance: male and female children reading comprehension and home literacy environment there is no significant difference, but there are differences between men and women and young children in reading attitude, girls better than boys. Children of different SES of their reading comprehension, reading attitudes and home literacy environment are different. They tend to show a high SES of young children in reading comprehension, reading attitude and family environment are reading higher than the low SES of young children.IV. Preschool reading comprehension ability, reading attitude and home literacy environment significantly positive correlation.V. Preschool reading attitudes and home literacy environment partially predict their reading comprehension ability.For the above conclusion, the present study on the feasibility of the family made a number of recommendations, including:the attitude of parents to straighten home literacy education; investment in their reading habits:create rich suitable reading environment; carry out positive parent-child interaction reading; establishing regular reading plan, develop Children’s interest in reading and good reading habits.
