A Review Of The Development Of Social Work In Mainland China From The Perspective Of Human Rights

Human right is crucial the social work value system, which has been recognized by the international community. Through searching the relevant literature, it is found that little attention was given to human rights during the development of social work of in mainland China, which is a thought-provoking phenomenon. By combing A review on the history of the development of social work in mainland China, the author thinks that the government is the most powerful feature of the development of social work in mainland China. Therefore,the author choose government purchase social work service which is the typical phenomenon ofthe government leading social work development as the breakthrough point, making a further research on development of social work in the most advanced areas-Shenzhen,with the case of 1 institutions of government purchase social work service from the perspective of human rights, through analysising the whole government process of social work services, the author points out the human rights problems existing in the government purchase of social work service process, citizen, service object, frontline social workers, social work agencies, professional social work rights are in a certain extent have been violated. From this point of view, it is meaningful to portray more about the development of social work in mainland China, and put forward some efforts to build more in line with human rights requirements of social work.The significance of this paper is not only to reveal some problems, but also bring human rights back into the social work thinking category.What is more, recognizing problems faced by social work islightening from the perspective of human rights.Last but not least,human rights not only gave social workers to pursue social justice force, but also greater re-examine raised for the development of social work...
