Traditional teaching mode mostly paid more attention to teach knowledge. The students are not participants but the recipient. Such these teaching mode can’t get great effect. Task-driving teaching mode is a new way that reflects the educational concepts of students first, lifestyle teaching and cooperative research.It can increase student’s enthusiasm and to get satisfied effect.The article uses the literature research method to discuss the general understanding of the task-driving teaching mode and it explains the meaning of the task-driving teaching mode. This kind of teaching mode analyzes the characteristics of taking the task as the main line, put the students first. On the basis of this, it puts forward the implementation principle include the principle and lifestyle teaching principles. The implement process includes setting up task scenarios, performing tasks, displaying tasks, and summarizing and evaluating students’ task completion. At the same time, combined with the author’s educational practice, the article uses case study to illustrate the specific application of task-driving teaching mode in the traditional culture inheritance and illustrate the implementation details of this teaching mode in order to guide the task-driving teaching mode better. At last, it puts forward that the implementation of the task-driving teaching mode should pay attention to the requirements of the assigned task, flexible using of task-driving teaching mode and perfect the evaluation mechanism.The innovation of the paper is that use the course Inheritance of traditional culture to illustrate how to use task-driving teaching mode. It is not only can enrich the theoretical research of task-driving teaching mode in politic class, but also give support to the reform of the teaching mode of political class. This paper has a strong theoretical and practical significance.
