A Study On The Entrepreneurial Environment In Private Universities

At present, there are many problems and straits existing in innovation and entre preneurial education in colleges. In order to construct the perfect entrepreneurial enviro nment for the students’ development, all the colleges keep searching for the proper s ystems for innovation and entrepreneurial education. Based on the present difficulties, characteristics of XX University, and three-dimensional framework, this thesis tried to explore and discuss the optimized strategies of the entrepreneurial institutional envir onment in XX University from the perspectives of regulations, normalization and cog nition.By learning from the previous and related studies, some new findings and sugge stions are provided. It is of great necessity to deepen the structural reform, to impro ve the standards of innovation and entrepreneurial talents training, to adopt the flexib le school system, to establish the curriculum system with the combination of professi onal education and innovation and entrepreneurial education and optimized strategies of the entrepreneurial environment. The details are presented as follows.Firstly, entrepreneurial environment plays a crucial role in the whole entrepreneu rial activities for the entrepreneurs. While the establishment and development of entrep reneurial environment is strongly influenced by the entrepreneurial education, which c an help to cultivate the excellent talents in innovation and entrepreneurship.Secondly, most of the researchers and scholars at home and abroad have been s tudying the entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial practice. Some effective ways for improving the entrepreneurial environment has been formed abroad. Whereas, ma ny entrepreneurship training incubators have been set up in order improve the school i mage. However, a set of complete theoretical system has not been formed yet. Thus,two aspects of the problems of college students’ entrepreneurship have been discussed in this paper: the needs of the students and the current condition of the school, and the construction of the optimized strategies of the entrepreneurial environment.Thirdly, it is found that many college students are anxious about entrepreneurshi p. Although they have great interest in it, they have never received systematical entr epreneurship education. Thus, the problems of the innovation and entrepreneurship in XX University include the lack of the entrepreneurial talents pool, difficulties in start ing-up financing, the disproportion of their willingness between the students and scho ol, etc.Fourthly, in order to take advantage of the three-dimensional framework, the t hree factors model in national institution system proposed by Kosotva and the index of Busnezti’s three dimensions of the institutional environment have been employed to divide and definite the three dimensions in college entrepreneurial institutional enviro nment: Regulation——the institutional support dimension to the entrepreneurs and entre preneurial activities from the colleges, which includes the related laws, rules and p olicies; Normalization——the support from the college atmosphere; Cognition—— the students entrepreneurs’ knowledge and professional skills on the operation of the entre preneurship.Finally,some responses and suggestions are offered as follows. It is of importanc e to know the talents training orientation and improve the policies and mechanism of college entrepreneurship. Moreover, more attention should be paid to the entrepreneur ial training and college entrepreneurial culture. In addition, the indispensable problem of venture capitals must be tackled as soon as possible.
