Hebei Province Private Higher Vocational College Teachers’ Work Present Situation Investigation And Study

It is the private higher vocational education that plays an important role in Chinese higher vocational education system. Private higher vocational colleges promote economic growth and raise education level. It is worth to say that the quality of the technical-oriented talents depends on the development of private higher vocational education in China. After twenty years of rapid development, the time of booming enrollment in Chinese colleges has passed. There are severe competitions among all kinds of vocational colleges, under the condition of decrease in the number and the quality of students.Meanwhile, private higher colleges have to abandon large-scale strategy and move on to improving the quality of students. It is the teachers that affect not only the implementation of teaching but also the overall level of development in higher vocational colleges.This paper utilizes the strategies of analyzing literature, sampling investment and talking to study the current situation of the private higher vocational college teachers in Hebei province. The main contentious issues include the following: imperfect management; an unreasonable pay system; low security standards; the weak sense of belonging to the schools and less incentive policies. This paper further analyzes the exist problems and the conclusion could be beneficial for future development of the private higher vocational college teachers. There are the improving strategies including strengthening the construction of management system, improving the management level, setting up scientific compensation system, formulating some safeguards, cultivating teachers’ sense of belongingness, making relevant policies and so on.Through the study of current situation of private higher vocational college teachers’ work in Hebei province, the author hopes that the strategies can improve the state of teachers’ work, maximize stimulating teachers’ enthusiasm, creativity and great potential, so that the private higher vocational colleges and universities can keep the talented people, develop the talented teachers, strengthen the quality of teachers. The conclusion of the thesis is based on the people-oriented and promotes the healthy and sustainable development of private higher vocational education in Hebei province. It can also speed up the implement the spirit of the “The State Councils decision to advance vocational education Higher vocational education ”, and then promote the implementation of the strategy relying on science and education.
