After five years development and fusion with society, in the process of information transmission and interpersonal interaction, Wechat have gradually have formed a unique environment. Once the medium environment has formed, it will have a huge impact on the participants.In such a new environment, college students, who are considered as the group who willing to try new things, have become the backbone of WeChat. WeChat has many advantages, which make them more willing to use the new network tools instead of the traditional ways,and has a great influence on the life style of college students. What’s more,the research on the lifestyle of college students is related to their daily behavior habits,handling things and treating people, and even the formation of values and ethics. At the mean time, the lifestyle of college students is an important part of the social lifestyle, so the changes of their lifestyle directly reflect the changes of social development and the spirit of the times, which has also verified the Tencent’s slogan:“WeChat, is a way of life”.This paper illustrates the characteristics and function of WeChat, the lifestyle of college students, as well as their combination.
