In recent years, the innovation of the new curriculum calls for open and practical teaching process in senior politics class. Being closely connected with the discipline characteristics and era features, situational classroom aims at active exploration, autonomous learning and better experiences of life. And this new effective methodology should be widely used in senior politics class. After reading relevant theories and other literature, the author summaries the current problems, such as disconnection of knowing and doing, improper teaching methods, and obscure teaching aims, in senior politics class by field visits, classroom observations, questionnaires and so on. Combined with the new curriculum reform, the author puts forward some ideas in building effective classroom situations.There are mainly four parts:The first part is the scientific basis of situational classroom, which includes the questions, significance, results and methods of the research.The second part defines the situational classroom under the new curriculum reform. By ways of two-way reasoning, it also discusses the theoretical and practical basis of the implementation of situational classroom.The third part mainly deals with the current situation of the application of situational classroom. It summarizes the questionnaire, the existing problems and the profound reasons.The fourth part presents the effective ways of building situational classroom in senior politics based on the author’s personal experiences and previous theoretical results.To sum up, supplemented by theoretical research,this paper is mainly based on empirical research. It discusses the effective ways of situational classroom in senior politics from both teachers and students. Hopefully, it would provide with educators and teachers of politics some practical references and theoretical guidance.
