The musical culture of our country is as same as our national culture, and both of them have a long history. The traditional instruments which result from the long history of the country are an important vector of Chinese Treasures. The object of the basic music education is all primary and secondary school students in our country, so it is the best way to implement esthetic education. If Chinese Guzheng becomes a part of the basic music education, it is no doubt that the benefit will last a lifetime during the students’ studying how to play this kind of instrument. The basic music education in our country is composite and it should be composed by all kinds of contents in the field of music.Since the modern times, China’s education is basically overall westernization as well as our music education, due to the great influence from the western culture ideas. Because the western philosophy and aesthetic concept affect our music education, it is generally based on the guidance of the western culture ideas, and the system and the methods are all westernized. All of this naturally led to national music education marginalized, more can be said to be struggling, and even part of the national music has been cut off. As an integral part in national music, national musical instruments are first and foremost hurt, even dying. Some surviving national musical instruments have been westernized on teaching, composing, performing and so on. It is our educators’ responsibilities to inherit and carry forward the education of national musical instruments, afterwards advance and enrich the excellent traditional culture in our country, making the Chinese civilization service the world development better. And it is also music educators’ bounden duties to carry out the national instrumental music education in the basic education that education accounts for a large proportion. In nowadays, the year attaches great importance to the quality- oriented education, the quality- oriented education on music is attracting more attention of public, of which Chinese Guzheng such traditional instrumental music teaching has the remarkable position. Guzheng, as China’s traditional instrument is high-profile for its melodious tweedle.The author has been engaged in Chinese Guzheng teaching for many years, and this paper summarizes her teaching experience and carries out research on Chinese Guzheng entering the elementary music classroom teaching in China. She hopes that this paper can help the person afterwards, and hope Chinese Guzheng education can get better development in our country.
