With the development of science and technology rapidly, we have entered into the era of knowledge economy. The highly qualified are required by the era and society to call for the educational reforms. In the new turn of curriculum reform in senior high schools, the inquiry teaching, in order to cultivate the exploratory spirit of students and the innovation consciousness, were scattered over the educational world from theory to practice. However, it is difficult to carry out the inquiry teaching, for the exploring consciousness and inquiry methods are lack for the high school students. In this paper, based on the characteristics of the physics itself and the internal requirement of inquiry teaching, the view of physical inquiry teaching under the guidance of scientific principles was presented. By improving the scientific method of education, cultivating the students’ investigation ability, and doing relevant research and practice, a new method about inquiry teaching was put forward under the guidance of scientific principles to increase the students interests of studying physics and the participation degree of the physics classes and the ability to solve the problem of physical analysis and raise the students’ scientific attitudes and spirit, which had an obviously advantage in contrast to the traditional teaching methods.
