The Study On Social Work Get Involved In Fans Public Service Activity

Nowadays, Groupies not only buy albums, watch concerts or send gifts, but also purchase different advertisings for idols such as LED screens, subway ads, and they also conduct lots of public service activities in idols’name. More and more fans developed public service organizations with diverse content and forms. There is a large problem in the fans public service organizations, which is the lack of formal guidance on ways and from professionals. The author is both a graduate student of Social Work and a fan, who have strong interest of this phenomenon and would like to do research and analysis of it.Fans public service activities as a public welfare activities, attached to the love of idols and chasing idols’footsteps. More and more pop stars are keen on public welfare, and they affect a large number of fans to do a wide variety of public activities in the name of idols. Fans public service activities are based on the public interests and serve the vulnerable groups. On the other side, the professional social work is a method of self-help, or to help others to solve social problems by providing professional organizations or individuals, using protocols of professional social work, thus the study on social work get involved in fans public service activities has practical significance.AtmanROY Fan Public stations established in May 21st,2015, it is an organization providing public service activities by fans of Wang Yuan. This article, selected AtmanROY as an example, combining in-depth interviews, analyzed the establishment, management, the advantages and disadvantages of fans public service activities. The author analyzes the necessity and possibility of social work get involved in the public service activities, try to put forward constructive involvement and hope that social work theories and methods will be the guidance of fans public service activities.Studies suggest that professional social work’s intervention of the development of public service activities has a positive role in promoting. However, the development of public service and social work in China is still in the early stage, practical experience is limited. This paper attempts to design programs of social work to get involved in the fans public service activities, including assisting fans doing professional social work, using fans media platform to expand the influence and social recognition of social work, and presenting new possibilities for the working areas of social work.The paper is divided into six parts, the main contents of each part are listed below:The first part is an introduction. Mainly describes the background and significance of the research, with concepts, literature review, research ideas. Presents relevant research and states development status of social work.The second part is about AtmanROY. Mainly explain the establishment, management, main forms of activity, and analyze the characteristics, advantages and problems of AtmanROY, from which to explore the necessity of professional social work intervention.The third part is the necessity of social work intervention. Introduce the current development of social work and point out problems. Then concluded both from the views of social work and fans public service activities, illustrate the necessity of social work intervention.The fourth part is putting professional social work methods into use. Respectively use casework, group work and community work into AtmanROY activities to design viable programs.The fifth part is the thinking of social work intervention. Through long-term investigation and practice, sum up the role of social work in the fans public service activities, problems encountered in the application process and reflection, states viable improvements.The sixth part is conclusion. The whole article of the study was summarized and demonstrated.
