Comprehensive Education is a new course opened by Wafangdian primary schools. The original intention of the course is to improve the comprehensive quality of primary school students. The teaching design ability of teachers affects the quality of primary Comprehensive Education classroom teaching, study on the teaching design ability of primary school teachers is helpful to the overall development of teachers’ professional development and plays a positive role in improving the effectiveness of teaching.This paper adopts literature research, questionnaire survey, case analysis and classroom observation methods. First of all,research is based on the Comprehensive Education in primary schools in Wafangdian city.Analysis on the current situation of the teachers’ teaching design ability in primary school and found that Comprehensive Education teachers in primary exist from the students’ life practice and cognitive law in each link of the teaching design, lack of attention to students’ ability of operation and ignore the "comprehensive" phenomenon in the course of Comprehensive Education.Besides, through the analysis of the questionnaire data to the classroom observation, case analysis,the reason of this appearance is that teachers’ teaching idea obsolete, the teaching design become a mere formality, improper understanding of the target of Comprehensive Education course.In the end, in view of the problems in the teaching design of Comprehensive Education puts forward suggestions:reasonable use of the situation creation, make the teaching goal close to the students; teaching objectives design, teaching activities designed focus on the students’ experience; strengthen the integration between the old and new knowledge, to strengthen the relationship with other subjects three major aspects of the strategies, to promote the primary school Comprehensive Education teachers’ teaching design ability.To a certain extent, this paper reveals the current situation of the Comprehensive Education teachers’ teaching design ability in primary school, points out the deficiency of the teachers’ instructional design in primary school,to provide some theoretical support and pertinent suggestions for teachers in teaching work, hope to provide some help for the improvement of the Comprehensive Education teachers’ teaching design ability in primary school.
