Currently, there are approximately 85,000,000 handicapped people in our country, and the corresponding disability rate is sostenuto increasing. Simultaneously, chronic disease has been the focus of the global public health, and 60.00% of dead of disease was caused by chronic non-communicable disease. In this paper, based on the investigation about incidence of chronic diseases and present situation of physical training for the disabled, we conducted the research and studied the directly correlation between them. Research methods containing literature data method, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics method, logical analysis method, field survey method and interview method were employed, and 350 handicapped people at Heping Street were selected to conduct the investigation. The findings were listed below:1.The morbidity of the chronic disease for handicapped people is relatively high in comparison with those for normal persons. Among these disabled persons, the incidence rate of the people possessing the score below 100 in the ADL test was highest, the people who often participated in the physical training possessed the lowest, and generally, the corresponding rate for male is higher than that for female.2. The disable at Heping Street exhibit a relatively high participation rate of physical training. However, the corresponding exercise intensity was lower, the training time was short, and the exercise method was not scientific. Consequently, the physical training methods which result in functional repairmen were urgently demand.3. The factors which influence the participation in physical training for the disable was numerous, and the predominance was considered to be the unsatisfactory facilities for community physical training, the limited guiding from professional rehabilitation person and the few interesting activities organized by the community which might catch their attention.4. The prevalence of chronic diseases and people with disabilities to exercise intensity, exercise frequency and duration of exercise, and effective participation in physical exercise related to specific performance:high intensity, frequency of exercise 5-6 times a week, each lasting time 31-45min between the overall duration of 6 months or more, the lowest prevalence of chronic diseases.5. The prevalence of chronic diseases is related to the sports, in which the prevalence of participation in swimming, hiking, cycling lowest.
