Since the approval of strategic planning toward Deepening the Reform Comprehensively of Education Field fromDecision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Some Major Issues Concerning Comprehensively Deepening the Reform during the Third Plenary Session of 18th CPC Central Committee, the importance of studying ideological and political education at colleges and universities in China has been promoted to an unprecedented position. Currently, the major student body is constituted of post 90s generation, who hold fairly different views and psychologies due to the fast changing and developing environment. For them, the traditional ideological and political teaching methods doesn’t work well. That is one of the biggest challenges the party faces today.Based on the the status quo of ideological and political education work in colleges and universities in China, the thesis has employed literature research method, questionnaire surveyexpert interviews, comparative analysis method,etc., to fully explore the plausibility of adopting grid management, has broadened the studying perspectives from the comprehension, comparison and grid management in other relevant fields, and has integrated various resources via the interviews with outstanding educators of ideological and political education to improve the existing ideological and political education work, as well as provide solid theoretical and technical supports for the research.Through full exploration, I think that the grid management application in college students’Ideological and political work is in the rapid development of the economy in our country, the whole society has entered information era background under, University Ideological and political work to achieve the effective management to carry out a useful attempt, draw the following conclusions:1、The grid management application in the ideological and political work in Colleges and universities helps to improve college students’ Ideological and political work of the effectiveness, timeliness, in terms of the development of Ideological and political work in Colleges and universities, grid management platform construction basically have the necessary foundation, grid management should be used is the innovation of Ideological and political work of college students.2、The ideological and political work in Colleges and universities should vigorously promote the scientific, standardized, and respect and appreciation, the pursuit of effectiveness of the concept.3、The key tasks is grid management also need to complete the mechanism, through the reform of the existing system, the subject of grid management development, high-quality staff, professional staff and high-quality volunteers do support, to explore the ideological and political work of grid management to ensure the operation of, only in this way, for the ideological and political work in Colleges and universities, grid management to function.4、In the technical aspects, to promote the implementation of the grid management of Ideological and political work in Colleges and universities, the current resources, after integration and application can support the overall grid management.
