National fitness relates the physical health and life happiness of the masses. It is also an important symbol of comprehensive national power and social civilization and progress. Community is the cell of a city. The development of community sport reflects the efficiency of national fitness to a great extent. Grid management is an advanced management method that applies the computer networking map technology to community management. It realizes delicacy management through deploying grid staff and definiting their responsibilities. Research and practice of grid management dates from Beijing Dongcheng District.At present, grid management has been generalized in most communities in Beijing. It plays an important role in daily management, natural disaster and emergency bombshell disposing and so on. Grid management raises the efficiency of management and also raises residents’ enthusiasm of participating the community management. Beijing Zongyuan Community is one of the seven Dongsi Olympic Communities and also one of the "Olympic Sport of Living Communities". Mass sport here has a good atmosphere. So it has a greater research value. Community grid management plays an important role in all aspects of community management and there are many studies about it. But studies about whether community sport has been brought into community grid management are very few.This research uses the method of literature, field investigation, case analysis, observation and interview to analyze the current situation of Zongyuan Community grid management and sport activities development and the necessity of Zongyuan Community sport implementing grid management. It is designed to deeply acquaint the current situation and open question of Zongyuan Community sport implementing grid management which is a scientific management method to advance the development of community sport and move forward to perfect community grid management mode.This research draws conclusions as follow:1. Community grid management as a scientific management method has been put into effect widely in Zongyuan Community. It also plays an important role in community daily management, general precaution, key attention, comprehensive management and emergency bombshell disposing and so on. Grid management is perfecting increasingly through continuous practice.2. The sports activities of Zongyuan Community is rich and colorful. Zongyuan Community has two mature fitness groups and there has special indoor activity spaces for residents to take exercises. But the organization and management of community sport is not in place. Deficiency of community sport resource, especially the instructors of social sports imposes the development of sport activities of Zongyuan Community.3.
