At present, our country has entered an aging society,the probability of older women widowed in the elderly population is significantly larger than the male, widowed elderly population accounts for more than 80% of the widowed old man always in the future, underlines the seriousness of the female elderly in China in the future. compared with the urban widowed women,female widowed elderly in rural areas is the vulnerable groups, vulnerable in rural families continuous miniaturization of the situation, lost a spouse family depend on, their psychological comfort mechanism has collapsed, pension and life is under attack, in itself forms a series of problems affecting the quality of life in old age. And the unique nature of professional social work, just right to solve our current issues related to rural areas female widowed elderly, on the basis of the investigation, a targeted professional social work method to be used in widowed old man’s life, can achieve alleviate or sad mood, improve the negative state of life, to enhance the actual effect, such as the social support.The author selected female widowed elderly in southern ShaanxiProvince, CountyK of MountainVillage in ShangluoCity as research subjects, on the basis of the theories and methods of social work, to social work intervention in rural widowed old man living in the corresponding research. First of all, to our country current aging and older women widowed rate among related background to make interpretation, China’s current population aging and female widowed elderly background rate to be elucidated, in the relevant domestic and international literature review, put forward the research ideas and innovations in this paper.
