In 2011, English Curriculum Standards clearly states, "Enable students to master basic English language knowledge and develop basic English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills by English courses. Lead Ss to have the ability in communicating with others in English initially and further promote the development of students’ thinking skills. It can lay a solid foundation for the future continue to learn English and use English to learn other knowledge. "The training of oral communication ability can improve the students’ English comprehensive ability and make the English courses develop. Through the survey we know that the higher primary grade students’oral communication ability is weak in rural areas. After analyzing the current situation, I put forward the corresponding countermeasures.This paper is divided into four parts. The first part is an introduction. It’s about the analysis of the current research. It pointed out that many countries paid great attention to the cultivation of students’oral communication ability. On this basis, I explained the significance of this study and research methods. The second part is related to the concept and theoretical basis of the study. It pointed out that significance of implicit learning theory and input and output theory. The third chapter is about the investigations about the current situation of the higher grade students’ oral communication ability in rural primary school and the analysis of the causes. With the investigations, we’ve found the oral communication ability of the high-grade pupils in rural primary schools is not optimistic, and analyses the causes of this situation. According to these reasons, the fourth chapter puts forward the targeted solution strategies. We should coordinate to increase the emphasis on the oral communicative competence and use the activities to stimulate students’ oral communication initiative. And we can also build the class which is good for the development of the Ss’ oral communication initiative.
