Oral communication is an application of language and writing,and it is an indispensable part of communication and communication between people and people in modern society.With the continuous development of the society,the oral communication ability of primary school students has increasingly attracted widespread attention,and the study of oral communication teaching has also received increasing attention.In 2000,the primary school Chinese teaching syllabus formulated by the Ministry of Education changed “listening and speaking teaching” to“verbal communication”,and oral communication reforms also took more than 10 years.After the practice and exploration of the majority of educational researchers and front-line teachers,primary school Chinese oral communication has been improved in terms of standardization and effectiveness,and so is oral communication teaching in Shanghai.In the fall of 2017,the Ministry of Education edited the first grade Chinese language textbooks.The teachers and students directly felt the importance of the education department to oral communication.However,influenced by the concept of exam-oriented education and traditional Chinese education,oral communication teaching does not seem to receive enough attention.The cultivation of pupils' oral communication ability is still disturbed by many factors.Based on the above considerations,based on the systematic review of existing literature,the author used a combination of theoretical research and investigation and practice to investigate the current situation of elementary pupils' oral communication in several primary schools in different regions of Shanghai,and analyzed the pupils' oral English in Shanghai.The situation of communicative learning and teachers' problems in oral communication teaching combined with case interviews to find out the causes of problems and propose solutions through practical research.Through the study,the author found that the ability of primary school students to communicate in oral communication in Shanghai at this stage needs improvement.In primary school Chinese oral communication teaching,the main problems are: lack of oral communication time,rigid teaching content,a single approach to oral communication teaching,and lack of instruction in teaching evaluation.The author also conducted in-depth analysis of the causes of many problems: the lack of attention to oral communicative teaching,weak teacher professionalism,depletion of teachingmaterial resources,and imperfect assessment system.Based on the causes of the problem,the author puts forward several strategies based on the actual situation of the training of primary school students' oral communication ability in Shanghai,mainly to improve teachers' theoretical qualities and optimize teachers' teaching design,to explore oral communication course resources,and to implement oral communication teaching evaluation.This study hopes that through the above strategies,it can promote the development of primary school Chinese oral communication teaching,and enable students to further improve their oral expression and daily communication skills.
