What calls for special attention is that the aging phenomenon of population becomes more and more serious in the 21 st century, and that is highly regarded by the government in recent years. There isn’t doubt that physical exercise can strengthen physique, delay senility, enrich lifestyle and so on. Scientific sports lifestyle not only reflects the ultimate concern of sports towards people, but also is a basic safeguard of the elderly spending their remaining years in the process of the aging of the population. Therefore, the study of the elderly’s sports lifestyle can provide a reference for the sports department to make sports decision for elderly and also can provide practical guidance for the elderly’s sports life, so as to realize the goal of healthy aging in our country.Based on urban elderly’s sports lifestyle as the research object, using the literature material method, questionnaire survey, field method, mathematical statistics and logical analysis method, there is a survey about urban elderly’s sports lifestyle among 60-69-year-old in Yan tai, that focus on basic lifestyle, sports lifestyle and its related factors. And at the same time, it’s necessary to find out what influences elderly’s sports lifestyle and what the problem is in order to help elderly to strengthen their physique and keep in a healthy and prolong life with the reasonable safeguard.The main conclusions gained are as follows:First, urban elderly’s physical health situation is not in good order owing to most of them have a chronic illness, so it’s urgent to attach more importance to urban elderly’s physical health in Yan tai. It also shows that those elderly who are not in a high cultural degree regard physical exercise as an important thing. So we can easily find that some elderly’s sports foundation is pretty good and it’s beneficial to carry out sports activities and it has positive significance for urban elderly in this way.Second, most urban elderly in Yan tai believes that it’s salutary to take physical exercise so that they are willing to learn more about sports exercise and take exercise. Nowadays, physical exercise are gradually accepted by urban elderly with its benefits of preventing illness, improving health, enriching lifestyle, promoting communication, avoiding lonely and so on.Third, urban elderly have much spare time but have low consumption level in Yan tai. Activity field can satisfy the basic needs of physical exercise but facilities need to be updated. Sports instructors are not enough to guide physical exercise, lacking the professional instructors.Fourth, urban elderly’s activities are mainly concentrated in where is close to home with better environment, such as parks, squares, residential communities, etc. physical exercise focus on small and medium intensity that needs a little basic of venues, equipment and technical requirements like dance, martial arts, walk and so on. The exercise usually lasts in 30 minutes once or twice a week together with friends and family.Fifth, the fundamental cause of urban elderly’s sports life is that they themselves don’t pay attention to their health and they are not interested in exercise and have no stamina. On the other hand, it’s difficult to meet the needs of urban elderly to exercise because the scientific guidance system of physical exercise is not sound.According to the above research conclusion and the specific situation of urban elderly’s sports lifestyle in Yan tai, I’ll put forward the following proposals for protection:First, sports facilities: we should open the existing facilities in order to improve the utilization rate as much as possible. What’s more, we should strengthen the supervision maintenance of sports equipment and increase the type of sports equipment.Second, sports management: we should transform the government functions and perfect the mode of urban elderly’s sports management. At the same time, we should raise service consciousness of sports administrators.Third, sports organization: it’s necessary to strengthen the learn ship and team construction. It’s important to organize colorful physical fitness activities for urban elderly. And it’s vital to plan as a whole to the construction of sports facilities.Fourth, sports instruction: the first step is to train young social sports instructors and then to enhance the construction of professional talent team for the sake of progressive training and guidance to the elderly.
