Distribution of educational opportunities in the population, to a certain extent, determines the basic characteristics of social stratification; and the allocation of higher education resources to a certain extent reflects the stock of a region’s culture.The access to higher education opportunities is not only dependent on the self-induced factors, but also on the first factors, namely, family cultural capital and higher education resources. Therefore, to explore the relationship between family cultural capital and higher education opportunities in different areas, we can further clarify the role of family cultural capital.This paper based on field theory, according to the data of CGSS10 analysis the China Eastern, central and western regions of family cultural capital on the higher education opportunities for children to obtain of family cultural capital and regional education resources to work together to the individual, and put forward to promote the education fair to suggest.The study found that:the highest level of education of parents is in the low level (junior and below), its influence on higher education opportunities for children to get in the middle area and western area than the eastern region, rural than the city. While the highest education level of the parents is high (high school and above), the impact on children of higher education the chance to get in the eastern region than the central region, the western region, the city than in rural areas. In addition, the central and western regions and rural respondents obtain higher education opportunity level than the eastern region, city respondents obtain higher education opportunities in low level. Suggestions on education, should take into account the efficiency and fairness, through the system the design and adjustment of resources gradually to promote the equalization of opportunities for higher education, to obtain the maximum relative fairness.
