As the main practitioners of curriculum reform, teachers’ development, especially the noted ones, have attracted more and more attention from the public. It is the distinguished teacher who plays a significant role in attaining first-class education and cultivating students with high quality. Huang Houjiang is such a noted Chinese teacher of Jiangsu Province. He has ever got a number of great titles, like super-grade Chinese teacher of Jiangsu province, the first senior lecturer of secondary school with Professor degree in Jiangsu province, nationwide excellent Chinese teacher, main writer of the writing of Su GB Chinese textbooks for junior middle school, and of the compiling of Chinese teaching materials for high school. He devoted himself to education vocation and having so many wonderful classes,which form his natural、rich and splendid teaching style.He scarifies himself to the education progress and teaching reform, from classroom teaching research to test results and even to Textbook compilation, Chinese curriculum research,which gradually forms his natural Chinese teaching thoughts. He grows conscientiously from an ordinary Chinese teacher to a famous one.Combined with Chinese subject, this paper aims to research Huang Houjiang in the hope that it can work as a reference of how to nurture a distinguished teacher professionally. This paper will achieve this goal as followed: a review of Pro. Huang’ growth, a conclusion of his unique educational thought, an analysis of influential factors in his self-development and a further exploration of his path to a super-grade Chinese teacher. This article can be divided into five parts:The introduction part will mainly introduce the origin of this topic and its research significance, concept definition, research status and research methods.The first part is divided into two sections, the first part is an overview of the theory of teacher growth stage, focusing on the Fang Jianhua’s growth stage theory. Secondly, it based on the theory of teacher’s development stage, focused on the growth experiences of Pro. Huang through an induction of his growth stages: the self-adjusting period as a new man, the maturity stage, and the successful creation period.The second part mainly combined with the classic teaching and research of Chinese teacher Huang Houjiang classicto unveil the characteristics of Pro. Huang about his study style and teaching methods from two aspects--his teaching ideas and teaching mechanism.Combined with the growth process and the education thought of Teacher Huang, the third part, with the help of attribution theory, will sum up and analyze the factors of what makes Teacher Huang an excellent on. It can be concluded into the following points:combine with faith and love、learning and reflection、practice and research and also challenge and environment in his teaching progress.The last part is about what we can learn from the path of a distinguished Chinese teacher into being. With a combination of the first three parts and other noted Chinese teachers’ self-development experiences, it will try to induct a Chinese teacher’s growth path, hoping it will work as a reference of how to nurture a distinguished teacher professionally...
