A Research On The Cooperation Situation Between Private Kindergarden And Families And Its Contermeasures

This study aims to investigate the cooperation situation between private kindergarten and family in Yanji city. China’s private infant education has a short history but recruits a great portion of children till now. Due to the deficiency of government’s policy, investment and building of institution, the private infant education system caused many problems. Family is vital in the process of children’s development which exerts great influence upon the cooperation between kindergarten and family. This study investigates how about the cooperation situation and analyzes the existing problems. In addition, by using interview and literature review, influencing factors of cooperation between family and kindergarten are investigated. Lastly, suggestions of improving situation are given.Three private kindergartens located in Yanji city are recruited as research filed. 52 teachers and 186 parents are used as sample to get research data. Research methods include literature review, questionnaire and interview. Research contents include (1) cooperation situation and existing problems; (2) exploring performance of different research groups; (3) suggestions. The conclusions are given, which include (1) Level of cooperation between kindergarten and family is okay. Different groups have different performance.Due to the shortage of teachers’amount, the cooperation among parents and teachers lack of specificity. (2) Factors such as teachers’age, job age and educational degree, parents’age, job and children’s grade influence their performance in study. Young teachers who contact parents directly have a wastage rate of staff is high which caused a unstable cooperation state with parents. Meanwhile, those teachers whose job age and working time are long produce job burnout. They hardly can provide accurate information to parent.According to conclusions, some suggestions are given like (1) Private kindergartens should work together to negotiate with local government to increase teachers’ income and treatment and make them feel proud of being a private kindergarten teacher. (2) By allocating more educational resources, kindergarten and family should give more attention to children’s individual development. (3) Enforcing the building the cooperation institution (4) Increasing educational activities for teachers and parents to improve the quality of cooperation.
