Study On The Educational Function Display Of Model Education For University

The model education in universities is an important carrier of ideological and political education, which is not only the inner requirement for enriching college students’ spirit but also an inevitable requirement for the implementation of fostering morality and cultivating the college students. The educational function of model education for university is the outer reflection and the concentrated expression for the essence of the model education in universities. It has great significance for solving the issue of "how to train person and what kind of person to train" and strengthening the efficiency of college ideological and political education to study the educational function display of model education for university, However,-with-the. development of the adjustment of social structure, the variety in ideas of people, the social development and the informational method of exchange, especially the production of idols and the superstar chasing worship, making the model education in universities face an unavoidable challenge. Therefore, we should put the crux of the problem on the platform of rational examination and try to give a way to the full play of educational functions of model education in universities.Based on clarifying the related concepts such as fine example, model education, the model education in universities and educational function, this paper further analyses the educational function of model education in universities including model function of the true, encouraging function of the simple spirit, guiding function of the advanced value, molding function of the respectable personality, infection function of the excellent deeds, flag function of making examples. On the basis of theoretical analysis, SPSS 22.0 (Statistical Program for Social Sciences)and Excel are used to process and analyze the data. Cross-tab analysis, Chi-square test and descriptive statistics are applied to the questionnaire of the status on 8 universities in Guangxi province. According to Chinese college students’ideological and political education development report (2013) and Chinese college students’ideological and political education development report (2014), this article objectively analyzes the present situation of the educational function of model education for university and analyzes the restricting factors which contain the understanding, object, methods, environment about the model education in universities as well as the narrative way of fine example. Through theoretical and empirical analysis, this article further studies the way to give full play the educational function of model education for university, consisted of setting up a scientific example concept, paying attention to the selection of spiritual example, meeting the requirements of the education object, innovating in education method and optimizing the environment of the example culture. Therefore, to make the best use and innovate the model education in universities, meanwhile, to put the model education in universities into effect.
