| Reading is an important method to obtain information.P-book is the information carrier in troditional reading style.The development of science and technology changes the reading style of——the proportion of Computer Screen-based Reading becomes increasingly pronounced.Digital Reading get substantial development.Meanwhile,many readers manifest their inadaptation(including psychic and physical) during Computer Screen-based Reading. Considered the actuality,this research focused on Computer Screen-based Reading effect of different display modes among university students.The research chose 8 readers who read on computer screen for a long time to conduct a focus group interview.Most interviewee indicated that visual attention involved into different part of computer screen is unequal during Computer Screen-based Reading,but textual Computer Screen-based Reading material did not arrange according to readers'visual characteristics.Otherwise,the display modes of textual Computer Screen-based reading material is too monotonic to emphasize the important information of the text. It is a good choice to frame important information for reminding. On this basis, a 4*4*2 complex design was conducted to identify the differences between natural science and social science descriptions, and between their display modes (with frame and without frame). And the conclusions are as follows:1. Without frame, differences among four places(top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right) in both natural science and social science description are:Significant between top left and top right;Insignificant between top left and bottom left;Significant between top left and bottom right;Significant between bottom left and top right;Significant between bottom left and bottom right;Insignificant between top right and bottom right; 2. With frame, there is no significant difference between top (top left and top right) and bottom (bottom left and bottom right) in both natural science and social science description.3. The effects of frame (with and without frame):There is significant difference between the effects of frame in top in natural science description.There is significant difference between the effects of frame in bottom in natural science description.There is no significant difference between the effects of frame in top in social science description.There is significant difference between the effects of frame in bottom in social science description.4. There is no significant difference between sexes regarding digital reading. |
