Creating appropriate problem situations in junior middle school reading teaching is helpful to guide students to carry on the inquiry learning and can promote the comprehensive improvements of Chinese accomplishments, therefore it is an important research project of teaching practice.First of all, The related concepts, the theoretical bases and the importance of the creation of problem situations in junior middle school reading teaching are summarized.The connotation of " the creation of problem situations in junior middle school reading teaching" is defined on the basis of the three concepts of " junior middle school reading teaching ", "problem situation" and " the creation of problem situations ". Theoretical bases are illustrated mainly from the theory of physiology, the theory of "artistic conception" in ancient China and modern education concepts. The significance of creating problem situations is embodied in stimulating interest and emotional resonance in learning,promoting the students’ self construction and creating a good environment of thinking.Secondly, this paper analyzes the existing problems and causes in the junior middle school reading teaching. The creation of problem situations is divorced from reality, is difficult to mobilize the enthusiasm of students, ignoring thinking and exploration and lack of new ideas. The causes of these problems include students do not pay enough attention to Chinese subject, Teachers devote little efforts, have one-sided understandings of the functions of the teaching situations, lack of relevant theories and lack of creation abilities.Finally,principles and strategies of the creation of problem situations in junior middle school reading teaching are described in detail.Creating problem situations should follow the principles of typicality,similarity to life, authenticity and difficulty suitability. And the creation strategies include four aspects:First, fully excavate Chinese curriculum resources like the daily life events, news, educational materials in media, reading notes and weekly reports. Second, comprehensively create simple problem situations which are associated,contradictory or open and complex problem situations which are gradual or radial type.Third,guide student to independently create problem situations. Forth, Scientifically use multiple evaluation system, pay attention to formative assessments, focus on comprehensive quality evaluations and explore multiple evaluation methods.
